My name is Barb Stachow and I have been painting off and on for about 25 years.  At first I was interested mostly in "Tole" painting.
 As an "engraver" I worked in the graphics design field for many years and found my art challenges there and stopped painting as a hobby for a few years.
Then cancer of the head and neck took number one priority of my life. Once I was cancer free I change my life's direction to include art on again.
Friends and family encouraged me to learn more, and I attempted more and more difficult pieces as well as taking some intense study lessons in the USA.  Although I still have a lot to learn, I now feel very happy to be able to say, I'm an artist!
