"I grew up on a farm near Frenchman Butte, Saskatchewan.  I earned my degrees in Arts and Education at the University of Saskatchewan and then moved to Edmonton in 1969.

 Art had always been a part of my life, as a hobby and as it applied in my career.  I worked mostly in watercolours until this past year when I fell in love with oils.  I like the vibrant colours and the textures you can create.
        
  I haven’t taken formal training in art but off and on through the years, I have taken short term classes in Grant McEwan, the Edmonton Public School adult program, and at the City Arts centre."
