Background:
I grew up in rural Alberta and spent my childhood on an acreage East of Sherwood Park. I have practiced Pharmacy in Edmonton and currently in Redwater.

After experiencing a life threatening illness a few years ago, I found myself re-evaluating what is important to me. Drawing and pencil art has always been something which I enjoyed. I started painting because it is something that I had always wanted to do and had never taken the time nor made the effort to take it up seriously. I realized that this was something important to me and if I ever wanted to paint I had to do it now.

Education:
Graduated from Salisbury High School in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
1964 completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of Alberta, Edmonton.
Starting in September 1999 I attended a series of workshops for 2 years with Gene Prokop in Edmonton
