"Rose started painting when she
retired in 1983. She tried different
mediums but liked using acrylics the
best. Rose liked to paint a variety of things including churches, grain
elevators, flowers and landscapes.
For several years, Rose many sold paintings at the Art Mart
in Westmount Mall.. Several of her works hang in Strathcona House, Edmonton and in
private collections in Canada and as far away as Ireland. One of Rose’s many commissions involved 13 paintings of a
Ukrainian church which was originally located East of Edmonton.
The church is now a historical building
located in Hull Quebec.
Rose was a member of the Edmonton Art
Club from ______ to 2009
