I started painting when I
retired in 1983. I tried different mediums but I liked using acrylics
the best. I like to paint a variety of things including churches,
grain elevators, flowers and landscapes.
For several years, I sold
paintings at the Art Mart in Westmount Mall. During this time I
sold many paintings. Several of my works hang in Strathcona House,
Edmonton. My paintings also hang in private collections in Canada
and as far away as Ireland. One of my commissions involved 13 paintings
of a Ukrainian church which was originally located East of Edmonton.
The church is now a historical
building located in Hull Quebec.
Recently, I have shown paintings
at the Miseracordia Hospital through the Edmonton Art Club. This
is my first time with an art club and I enjoy it very much. CONTACT
