Biography:
Being an Alberta Artist with a passion for hiking in the wild, nature often leads me to a mountain landscape. I always say that I am happiest with just a rock and some water. The call of a loon is as exciting as the wide sweep of a prairie sky, a thundering storm, or a golden band of wheat.
Formally trained in Art I am a juried member of SWCA and the Edmonton Art Club with whom I exhibit, as well as from my new "The Four Winds Studio"

Education:
Bachelor of Arts, University of Alberta. Fine Art & English

Artist Statement:
I am seeking the underlying structure and rhythm of what is before my senses as well as it's essential elements. At times, I am expressing the subject before me in realistic terms, while at other times, I am enjoying the color and rhythmic flow before my eyes. I invite the viewer to pause and enjoy the personal interpretation of my world.
